How about a little break to share a testimony?

“Wisdom will guide you down delightful paths.” - Proverbs 3:17

This verse would not have hit me 10 years ago like it does today.

One day, I will write about it in more detail. But Abba YHWH fulfilled this quite literally. One day, while exercising on a trail in the forest, His Breath whispered to me, "You are a runner." It was so clear that I figured I should keep doing this trail running and hiking thing.

Before long, there on that trail, He began to reveal to me one thing after another. Wow! I thought I was OK until He started working on me, and I realized how much "work" I actually needed.

Each journey on that trail became the best therapy session that I could ever imagine. There's more, but, as I mentioned, His Wisdom literally guided me down delightful paths.

This is why I write and doodle under the name "Running Sacred." It's serious business with a God who was so patient with me that it took me almost 50 years to learn how to listen. He is still showing me that grace and leading me to delightful paths.
