It’s been a while, hasn’t it?
Well, I decided to take a breather. Sometimes, I have to play like an eagle and fly high over the landscape, then take a few laps to see if I missed anything. Don’t worry, I will not make screechy noises. I don’t actually fly. Sorry, I know you were hoping.
Much has happened in this land in the past months. I am guessing things will continue at fast forward pace until the King appears. I hope He comes soon. But let’s talk about Ezekiel 17 and a simple promise to Israel (the tiny nation that God chose). Let’s see if the words of the promise/prophecy can apply to the good old USA.
A Tale Of Two Branches
I, Yahweh, have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree flourish. Ez. 17:24
Basically, YHWH took a strong portion of a lofty tree and planted it in the ground where it survived, but remained a low vine. However, he took a little sprig from a tree and placed it on the high mountain where it became a noble cedar.
And here we are in a month that has been proclaimed as a celebration of pride. We all know where pride leads anyone, yet we are told to promote it. No longer are the mocking deviants satisfied with simply being allowed to celebrate their fetishes, we are now told that we must bow when they parade down main street.
Can you imagine being in Mordecai’s sandals? There goes Haman. All you have to do is bow. If you bow, all will go back to normal. Things will be OK for you. What do you do?
What was the end for Haman. He, first, had to serve Mordecai while Mordecai was clothed in royalty. Then, Haman became “Hangman” on the very gallows that he commissioned.
Pride goes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall. - Prov. 16:18
That’s scripture baby. It is a promise. It will not fail. As a matter of fact, the testimony of this fulfillment can be used to draw people to God in repentance. You ever think about the fact that a Godly prophecy is, in fact, a promise?
Think of how much time Mordecai spent on the ground in prayer and repentance for a nation that once served God, but lost its way. Think about how much time people in pagan culture in this land lift themselves up and scheme to bring down the Godly.
Look to the promise of prophecy.
Jesus/Yeshua is coming back. He is coming as a judge. He will lift up the lowly and place us on His Holy mountain, while he will bring low those who have lifted themselves up. He will even cut off and throw the sinful branches into the fire.
May His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
Are you a modern day Mordecai? The time is now. Will you stand up, or will you bow?
Blessings, my friend. Thanks for reading. I pray that you will be bold and stay fervent in prayer.
Here is my new sticker. Let me know if you want one.
Great writing. How do I get one of those stickers? GOD BLESS
